Pictured below here are some desinger sketches &
photos of friends; some suggestions on how to wear some of this Fall's styles.

Of course you can embellish these ideas by * adding a pin/brooch,
* adding a ribbon as a hat band, or * pulling a ribbon through the stitches to create a chin tie or to gather one side.
The beauty of knit wear is its flexibility, possibilities abound!

The COLLONADE
"Dangerous" Linda Rees (left) is wearing The Collonade in a pillbox style.
Musician Mel Canlas (center) is wearing The Collonade in the snood style.
Actress Kelly Shipe is wearing The Collonade in the schoolgirl style. One of our
most versitile styles!
| THE THIMBLE HAT, THE SPLIT LEVEL & a SKI CAP |

|
The SPLIT LEVEL
Above at left, Linda is wearing the very versitile Thimble Hat in a smaller version. She
styled hers in the manner of Robin Hood!
Kelly is wearing The Split-Level, with the side band buttoned up. The band can be
unbuttoned and tucked inside for it to be worn more like a ski cap, with lower section covering the ears for warmth.
Mel, on the right, is wearing her ski cap - in a mix of textual yarns - loose, with
the traditional pom-pom at the top hanging at the back.

3 different ways to wear the Hi-Rise.
The larger/longer Hi-Rise is another versatile style, and can be worn most ways The Collonade can be worn.
Mel is wearing the smaller version
of the Hi-Rise, and the matching gauntlet gloves.
Kelly is wearing the large Hi-Rise
folded up in the pillbox style, glammed up with a vintage pin.
Linda is wearing the large Hi-Rise
high on the head, in the snood style, but with a ribbon threaded through the top and the side, fixing the flat top over
to the side - a very high-style vintage look. (Just thread a ribbon through the holes of the knit stitches.)
* No dogs were harmed in the making of this knitwear... but they may have been extremely bored.
Conversely, the cats frequently found it irresistible and paw to paw combat took place.
DOGGEREL - a low, or trivial,
form of verse, loosely constructed and often irregular, but effective because of its simple mnemonic rhyme and loping metre.
It appears in most literatures and societies as a useful form for comedy and satire. It is characteristic of children's game
rhymes from ancient times to the present and of most nursery rhymes.
